I've had several professional community roles. My first was in 2014 at the Government Digital Service where I:

Originally written by Meg Pickard, these 2 pieces of guidance help develop communities of practice in government. Much of it can be applied to other communities, especially the 3 P's of people, programme and platforms.
I also collaborate on guidance and events with various communities for community professionals including:
Apolitical's Community Building in Government (currently invite only).
