Community work
My personal tagline is, "I love to bring people together and make things better".
I've had several professional roles as a community development manager. My first was in 2014 when I edited the community development handbook and framework for GOV.UK. It was originally written by Meg Pickard. These 2 pieces of guidance help develop communities of practice in government. Much of it can be applied to other communities, especially the 3 P's of people, programme and platforms.
Current communities
I help run:
Community Manager's breakfast club.
Monthly virtual meetup every 4 weeks at 0900 GMT Wednesday

Annual hybrid meetup.
Weekly in person hackathon every Tuesday from 1830 GMT at Newspeak House.
